Organelles in the Cytoplasm
Cytoplasm
Cytoplasm a jelly-like substance that fills the cell and surrounds all organelles.
It is eighty percent water and usually clear in color. The cytoplasm is found
inside the cell membrane, surrounding the nuclear envelope and organelles.
Cell Membrane
The cell membrane surrounds the cell and protects it. The purpose of the cell membrane is to enclose the contents of the cell and regulate the movement of particles in and out of the cell, such as ions or molecules.
